Channa Masala

Serves: 3-4
Heat: Medium / Preparation Time: Overnight / Cook Time: 30 mins.

Ingredients Needed:

  • 8oz Kabuli Channa
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 2 Onions
  • ½ piece Ginger
  • 1 tsp Ananta Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Ananta Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Ananta Channa Masala
  • ½ tsp Ananta Chaat Masala
  • ½ tsp Anantha Kasoori Methi
  • 1 Tomato
  • 3 Green Chilies

Method:

  1. Soak Kabuli Channa (White Chickpeas) overnight.
  2. Give it 5-6 whistles in pressure cooker and keep aside.
  3. Heat oil, fry chopped onions till golden brown.
  4. Add coriander powder, chii powder, Ananta channa masala and fry for 3 mins on a low flame.
  5. Mix in chopped tomato, slit green chillies and finely sliced ginger.
  6. Add boiled chhole, salt and cook for 5 mins.
  7. For added flavour, add Ananta Chaat Masala & Ananta Kasoori Methi.
